After unboxing, keep your new plant in bright indirect light for about a week to let it bounce back from the stresses of shipping. Check roots for rot, and water as needed. Refrain from repotting for at least one month. While we inspect every plant for pest and health before shipping, its best practice to inspect and isolate your new plant for up to a month to limit pest spread. If your plant arrives with any issue, reach out to our team with pictures if possible!
Plant Shipping Disclaimer: Live plants have different sensitivity levels to shipping stress including but not limited to shipping route/facility weather or being boxed up without light or ventilation for days at a time. Yellowing/lose of leaves, root rot, wrinkling of stems, discoloration, and other signs of shipping stress can be expected to some degree. Minor damage as listed above sometimes cannot be mitigated even through the best of practices per each plants unique sensitivities. Light Requirements: The N'Joy Pothos thrives in moderate to bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may grow more slowly and have less pronounced variegation.
Watering Needs: Maintain evenly moist but not waterlogged soil for your N'Joy Pothos. Water when the top inch of the potting mix feels dry. Be cautious not to overwater, as it may lead to root rot.
Soil Type: Plant your N'Joy Pothos in a well-draining potting mix that retains some moisture. A blend of regular potting soil with perlite or orchid bark works well.
Temperature and Climate: This adaptable plant thrives in typical indoor temperatures between 65-85°F (18-29°C). It's suitable for various indoor environments.
Fertilization: Feed your N'Joy Pothos with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). This encourages healthy growth and vibrant foliage.
Pruning and Maintenance: Pruning your N'Joy Pothos can help control its size and shape. Trim leggy vines just above a leaf node to promote bushiness. Regular maintenance is minimal, making it an ideal choice for busy plant lovers.
Pests and Diseases: N'Joy Pothos is generally resilient against pests and diseases. However, occasional checks for common houseplant pests like mealybugs or spider mites are recommended. Address any issues promptly with appropriate treatments.
Toxicity: Keep in mind that Pothos plants, including the N'Joy variety, are toxic if ingested. Ensure they are placed out of reach of pets and children.
