Note that plants pictured are representative of the size, fullness, health and maturity of the plant we will ship.

After unboxing, keep your new plant in bright indirect light for about a week to let it bounce back from the stresses of shipping. Check roots for rot, and water as needed. Refrain from repotting for at least a month to allow plant to acclimate to your micro-climate. While we inspect every plant for pest and health before shipping, its best practice to inspect and isolate your new plant for up to a month to limit pest spread. If your plant arrives with any issue, reach out to our team with pictures if possible!

Plant Shipping Disclaimer: Live plants have different sensitivity levels to shipping stress including but not limited to shipping route/facility weather or being boxed up without light or ventilation for days at a time. Light Requirements: Position your Red Maranta in bright, indirect light to maintain its vivid leaf colors and encourage healthy growth. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, which can scorch its delicate foliage.

Watering Needs: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top inch of the soil feels slightly dry. This plant thrives in a humid environment, if available like terrariums and reptile enclosures.

Soil Type: Plant your Red  Maranta in well-draining potting soil with good moisture retention. A mix of potting soil and peat moss can help create an ideal growth medium.

Temperature and Climate: Maintain a warm and consistent environment for your Maranta, with temperatures ranging between 65-75°F (18-24°C). It prefers higher humidity levels, so using a humidity tray or room humidifier can be beneficial, especially in drier climates.

Fertilization: Feed your Red Maranta every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer. Reduce fertilization during the dormant season (fall and winter).

Pruning and Maintenance: Pruning requirements are minimal for Maranta. Remove any yellow or damaged leaves as needed to promote healthy growth and maintain its appearance.

Pests and Diseases: While relatively pest-resistant, be vigilant for common houseplant pests such as spider mites or mealybugs. Regularly inspect your plant and treat any infestations promptly.

Toxicity: Please note that Red Maranta is non-toxic to humans but can be mildly irritating if ingested. Keep it out of reach of pets and children.
