After unboxing, keep your new plant in bright indirect light for about a week to let it bounce back from the stresses of shipping. Check roots for rot, and water as needed.
Refrain from repotting for at least one month. While we inspect every plant for pest and health before shipping, its best practice to inspect and isolate your new plant for up to a month to limit pest spread. If your plant arrives with any issue, reach out to our team with pictures if possible!

Light Requirements: Chinese Money Plants thrive in bright, indirect light. They can tolerate moderate to low light conditions, but their leaves may not display the iconic round shape and vibrant green color without sufficient light.
Watering Needs: Maintain moderately moist soil for your Chinese Money Plant. Water it when the top inch of the soil feels dry to the touch, usually every 1-2 weeks. Ensure proper drainage to prevent overwatering.
Soil Type: Plant your Chinese Money Plant in well-draining potting soil. A mix of regular potting soil with perlite or sand works well to provide good aeration and prevent waterlogged roots.
Temperature and Climate: Chinese Money Plants prefer indoor temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C). They are adaptable to most indoor environments but appreciate consistent room temperatures.
Fertilization: Feed your Chinese Money Plant with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce fertilization in the winter months.
Pruning and Maintenance: Chinese Money Plants require minimal pruning. Trim any yellow or damaged leaves as needed to encourage healthy growth. Regularly rotate the plant to ensure even development.
Pests and Diseases: These plants are generally resistant to pests, but occasional issues with mealybugs or spider mites may occur. Inspect your plant regularly and address any pest problems promptly.
Landscape and Use: The Chinese Money Plant's charming appearance makes it an excellent choice for both homes and offices. Its unique round leaves and upright growth habit make it an ideal candidate for tabletops, shelves, or as a standalone focal point.
Additional Tips:
- Consider propagating your Chinese Money Plant by taking stem cuttings and rooting them in soil or water.
