After unboxing, keep your new plant in bright indirect light for about a week to let it bounce back from the stresses of shipping. Check roots for rot, and water as needed.
Refrain from repotting for at least one month. While we inspect every plant for pest and health before shipping, its best practice to inspect and isolate your new plant for up to a month to limit pest spread. If your plant arrives with any issue, reach out to our team with pictures if possible!

Light Requirements: Golden Flame Snake Plants thrive in a wide range of lighting conditions. While they can tolerate low light, they truly shine when placed in bright, indirect light. This adaptable nature makes them suitable for various spots in your home. Avoid exposing them to harsh, direct sunlight, as it may scorch their leaves.
Watering Needs: Maintaining the right moisture balance is essential for the health of your Golden Flame Snake Plant. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings, as they are highly sensitive to overwatering, which can lead to root rot. Adjust your watering frequency based on the humidity levels in your environment.
Soil Type: Plant your Golden Flame Snake Plant in well-draining soil. A standard potting mix mixed with perlite or sand promotes good drainage, preventing waterlogged roots.
Temperature and Climate: These plants are well-suited to typical indoor temperatures and humidity levels. They are adaptable to the comfortable conditions found in most homes and offices.
Fertilization: Feed your Golden Flame Snake Plant with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Dilute the fertilizer to half strength to prevent overfeeding. Reduce or halt fertilization during the dormant winter months.
Pruning and Maintenance: Pruning is rarely required for these elegant plants. However, you can remove any damaged or yellowing leaves to maintain their aesthetic appeal. Regular maintenance is minimal, making them an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced plant owners.
Pests and Diseases: Golden Flame Snake Plants are generally resistant to pests and diseases. However, it's a good practice to periodically inspect your plant for common houseplant pests like mealybugs or spider mites. If necessary, treat any infestations promptly with neem oil or insecticidal soap.
Landscape and Use: With their stunning variegated foliage, Golden Flame Snake Plants are perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any indoor setting. They are ideal for tabletops, shelves, or as floor plants, and their striking appearance complements various decor styles.
