After unboxing, keep your new plant in bright indirect light for about a week to let it bounce back from the stresses of shipping. Check roots for rot, and water as needed. Refrain from repotting for at least one month. While we inspect every plant for pest and health before shipping, its best practice to inspect and isolate your new plant for up to a month to limit pest spread. If your plant arrives with any issue, reach out to our team with pictures if possible!

Growth Pattern: This captivating succulent vine features cascading stems adorned with small, heart-shaped leaves that display a delightful blend of green and creamy-white variegation. Its trailing nature makes it an ideal choice for hanging baskets, shelves, or as a captivating drapery plant.
Light Requirements: The Variegated String of Hearts thrives in bright, indirect light. While it can tolerate some direct sunlight, it's best to shield it from intense rays to prevent leaf scorching.
Watering Needs: Allow the top inch of the soil to dry out between waterings. Water your Variegated String of Hearts sparingly but thoroughly, as it's susceptible to root rot if overwatered. Ensure that the pot has proper drainage.
Soil Type: Plant your Variegated String of Hearts in a well-draining succulent or cactus mix. These mixes provide the right balance of moisture retention and aeration for optimal growth.
Temperature and Climate: Maintain a temperature range between 60-80°F (15-27°C) for your plant's well-being. Protect it from drafts and cold temperatures.
Fertilization: Feed your Variegated String of Hearts with a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) to support healthy growth and foliage.
Pruning and Maintenance: Prune your plant as needed to maintain its desired shape and prevent leggy growth. Trim any leggy stems just above a leaf node to encourage bushier growth. The Variegated String of Hearts requires minimal maintenance.
Pests and Diseases: These plants are generally resistant to pests and diseases. However, keep an eye out for common succulent pests like mealybugs or aphids. If infestations occur, treat them promptly with neem oil or insecticidal soap.
Toxicity: Please be aware that the Variegated String of Hearts is considered toxic if ingested, so it's advisable to keep it out of reach of pets and children.
