After unboxing, keep your new plant in bright indirect light for about a week to let it bounce back from the stresses of shipping. Check roots for rot, and water as needed. 

Refrain from repotting for at least one month. While we inspect every plant for pest and health before shipping, its best practice to inspect and isolate your new plant for up to a month to limit pest spread. If your plant arrives with any issue, reach out to our team with pictures if possible! 

Growth Pattern: This philodendron species boasts an upright growth habit, with its impressive leaves reaching up to several feet in length.

Light Requirements: Philodendron thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but will grow best when provided with ample, filtered sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may scorch the leaves.

Watering Needs: Maintain moderate soil moisture levels for this philodendron. Water it when the top inch of the soil feels slightly dry to the touch. Be cautious not to overwater, as excessive moisture can lead to root rot. Ensuring proper drainage in the pot is essential.

Soil Type: Plant your Philodendron in a well-draining potting mix with good aeration. A mix formulated for aroids or philodendrons is an excellent choice.

Temperature and Climate: This philodendron thrives in temperatures ranging from 65-80°F (18-27°C). It prefers a humid environment, making it well-suited for bathrooms or kitchens with increased moisture levels.
