Join Scorpio Gardens for a hands-on, community-rooted Houseplant Propagation Workshop, where we’ll dig into the magic of multiplying your favorite houseplants. Whether you're just starting your plant journey or looking to expand your skills, this workshop is a welcoming space to learn, connect, and grow—together.
We’ll explore a variety of propagation methods—from water and soil to moss, LECA, perlite, and more—while working with beautiful and beginner-friendly plants like pothos, monstera, philodendron, succulents, peperomia, cacti, and aloe.
You’ll get to:
🌿 Learn about plant anatomy and where to cut
🧪 Try out different tools and substrates
✂️ Practice hands-on techniques
🌞 Explore propagation environments like jars, trays, and mini greenhouses
🌱 Take home around a dozen plant propagations you created yourself!
✨ Participants are encouraged to bring clean jars, clear food containers, small plastic bins, or any reusable vessels they'd like to repurpose for propagation. We’ll provide substrates, plants, and a selection of standard nursery pots to get you started!
We use a solidarity sliding scale pricing model to keep this offering accessible to our community. All materials provided—just bring your curiosity (and maybe a friend)!
