After unboxing, keep your new plant in bright indirect light for about a week to let it bounce back from the stresses of shipping. Check roots for rot, and water as needed.
Refrain from repotting for at least one month. While we inspect every plant for pest and health before shipping, its best practice to inspect and isolate your new plant for up to a month to limit pest spread. If your plant arrives with any issue, reach out to our team with pictures if possible!

Light Requirements: To keep your Golden Goddess Philodendron flourishing, provide it with bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may grow more slowly. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, which can scorch its leaves.
Watering Needs: Maintain moderate moisture levels for your Golden Goddess Philodendron. Allow the top inch of the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering should be avoided, as it can lead to root rot. Adjust your watering frequency according to the humidity levels in your environment.
Soil Type: Plant your Golden Goddess Philodendron in a well-draining potting mix. A standard potting soil mixed with perlite or orchid bark provides the ideal balance of moisture retention and drainage.
Temperature and Climate: These tropical beauties thrive in typical indoor temperatures and humidity levels. They are well-suited to the comfortable conditions found in most homes and offices.
Fertilization: Feed your Golden Goddess Philodendron with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Dilute the fertilizer to half strength to prevent overfeeding. Reduce or suspend fertilization during the dormant winter months.
Pruning and Maintenance: Pruning requirements for the Golden Goddess Philodendron are minimal. Remove any yellowing or damaged leaves to maintain its aesthetic appeal. Regular maintenance is straightforward, making it a fantastic choice for plant enthusiasts of all levels.
Pests and Diseases: Golden Goddess Philodendrons are generally resilient against pests and diseases. However, it's wise to periodically inspect your plant for common houseplant pests like mealybugs or spider mites. If any infestations occur, address them promptly with neem oil or insecticidal soap.
