"Monstera adansonii"
The Monstera adansonii, known as the Swiss Cheese Vine, is a delightful vining plant admired for its distinctive, fenestrated leaves resembling a Swiss cheese pattern. Shipped in a 8-inch nursery pot with a detachable hanger, the plant you receive will be representative in size, health, and maturity of those shown in the pictures.
Upon arrival, acclimate your new Swiss Cheese Vine in indirect sunlight for a week to recover from shipping stress. Check the roots for any signs of rot and water appropriately. Avoid repotting for at least a month to allow the plant to settle. While each plant undergoes rigorous inspection before shipping, it's advisable to isolate your new addition for up to a month to prevent potential pest spread. For any concerns upon receipt, kindly reach out to our team along with accompanying photos if possible.

Yellowing/lose of leaves, root rot, wrinkling of stems, discoloration, and other signs of shipping stress can be expected to some degree. Minor damage as listed above sometimes cannot be mitigated even through the best of practices per each plants unique sensitivities. Light Requirements: Thriving in bright, indirect light, the Swiss Cheese Vine can also manage in lower light settings.
Watering Needs: Maintain moderate watering habits; allow the top layer of soil to dry between waterings to prevent root rot.
Soil Type: Plant in well-draining potting mix for optimal growth, such as regular potting soil mixed with perlite.
Temperature and Climate: Adaptable to temperatures between 65-85°F (18-29°C), it suits most indoor environments.
Fertilization: During the growing season (spring and summer), nourish with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks.
Pruning and Maintenance: Control the plant's size and encourage lushness by trimming leggy vines just above a leaf node. It's a low-maintenance plant, making it ideal for beginners.
